We greatly appreciated the opportunity to exchange experiences, learn from one another, and further strengthen our connections—particularly regarding inbound and outbound activities in the life sciences sector, with a strong focus on start-ups. Building and nurturing these networks is a fundamental pillar of our community management.

A particular highlight was gaining insights into the work of our tenant, the RIMASYS Group, one of our forward-looking MedTech companies at BioCampus Cologne. Berk gave us an impressive presentation of the company’s in-house CADLAB—a state-of-the-art training environment designed for highly realistic surgical simulations. The Rimasys Group is unique worldwide in producing highly realistic fractures in human specimens while maintaining a closed soft-tissue envelope. This innovative approach is helping to revolutionize surgical education and training. Thank you to Mara Valentina Riegel and Berk Karota for making the tour of the CADLAB facilities possible.
